The iPhone 12 line-up is one of the most eagerly awaited ones of the year. The series is set to get four new phones — which in the past have found mentions in a number of leaks. And now, a new one claims to reveal all there is to know about the displays of these phones.

Coming courtesy of Ross Young, the founder and CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, the new leak reveals the display resolutions and other screen details of the upcoming iPhone 12 phones.

iPhone 12 (5.4-inches)

The basic iPhone 12 will reportedly get a 5.4-inch display. The panel will be an OLED one from Samsung. The leak reveals that the panel will support Y-OCTA technology that will allow for the touch sensor to be integrated directly into the display. The display is also being claimed to run at a resolution of 2340 x 1080 and sport a pixel density of 475ppi.

iPhone 12 Max

The iPhone 12 Max is expected to be bigger, and come sporting a 6.1-inch panel. This display, however, won’t be sourced from Samsung, and would instead be either from BOE or LG Display. This panel too will be OLED in technology and will bring an add-on touch sensor and a resolution of 2532 x 1170 pixels.

iPhone 12 Pro

Ross Young has also revealed some important information about the display specs of the iPhone 12 Pro. This he says will be a flexible OLED from Samsung with both 10-bit color support and Y-OCTA integrated touch. The display, the leak reveals, could be the world’s first 10-bit one on a phone. The display will further support a high resolution of 2532 x 1170 and may even offer fast 120Hz refresh rate.

iPhone 12 Pro Max

The leak also sheds light on the iPhone 12 Pro Max’s display specs. The phone is being claimed to sport a massive 6.7-inch flexible OLED display from Samsung with a resolution of 2778 x 1824 pixels. This again will feature 10-bit colour support and also Y-OCTA and XDR.

It claimed that the iPhone 12 will start retail at $649 for the 128GB variant of the iPhone, with the device also being made available in a 256GB variant that will sell for $749. The iPhone 12 Max will also be available in the same memory configurations, but pricing will start at $749 and go up to $849 in the US.

The iPhone 12 Pro, on the other hand, will be available in three variants, with the 128GB one priced at $999. The 256GB variant has been revealed to come with a $1099 price tag, while the top-end 512Gb one is said to be priced at $1,299.
